Disability Insurance
So many of us take our health and safety for granted. We give little thought to how we would continue to pay for our living expenses if illness or an extensive injury curtailed our ability to work and earn income. Disability coverage assists by providing income when injury or illness prevents you from working for the short term or for a longer period of time. Disability plans provide a percentage of the lost income for the period of disability, after a pre-selected waiting period.
If you have disability coverage as part of your employment benefits package, the policy will provide you with a percentage of your salary if you are disabled. If this is a company provided benefit, then the income payable will be subject to normal income tax.

You may wish to think about additional disability coverage as a means of offsetting some of this tax. We know how to build strong disability insurance plans into your personal financial planning. So if the unthinkable happens, you have the security you need to keep your family afloat.

Long Term Care Insurance
There comes a time, somewhere after your 40 th birthday and before your 55 th, where purchasing a Long Term Care Insurance policy makes a lot of sense. Most of us are living longer and healthier lives. For some, poor health as we age translates into the need for elder care. Long term Care Insurance kicks in, providing benefits that pay for in-home or assisted living care without depleting your assets.

Few of us give a great deal of thought to the expenses associated with long-term care. For many families, just a few years in assisted living can deplete the family' s resources. Consider what a decade or two of assisted living expenses can be.

We spend significant time talking with our clients about their post-retirement plans, because for most people this is two or three decades of life. With detailed planning and assistance, and good decisions, our clients will be able to meet life on their terms.
